Arizona Described Movies

New theater movies that are not being caried over usually come out on Fridays. Most of these theaters will try to charge you extra for 3-D films with descriptions, but don't let them. You may have to explain to them just how absurd it is to offer a premium visual show to a non visual patron who wants to sit with his or her family and friends.

TALKING BOOKS

Talking Books has a large variety of descriptive movies that you can check out. Free movie loans from the Arizona State Library are as easy to get as their recorded books and are also delivered postage free right to your door. The older recordings are on VHS tape and they are building up their collection of studio captioned DVDs. One warning, though the DVD movies may have menus that require a sighted person's help. Call the library people at 1-800-255-5578
